Corn ribs are a trendy and tasty take on traditional corn on the cob. The process involves quartering the corn lengthwise to create rib-like strips. These strips are then seasoned, and typically baked, fried or air-fried until they achieve a crispy texture. This creative preparation turns a familiar veggie into a delightful finger-food experience, perfect for adding excitement to any meal or gathering.

Ingredients

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C.
Prepare the corn by peeling the corn and removing the husks and silks. With a sharp knife, carefully cut each ear of corn into halves or thirds, creating "corn ribs." Bake the corn ribs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are tender and slightly browned at the edges. You may want to flip them halfway through for even cooking.
  • Once the corn ribs are done, remove them from the oven. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander, garlic mayo, pinkles and tajin.

Notes

  • - Be creative with your toppings.
